Charity Marathon Row Completed in Newquay

Andy Cole completed his marathon row of 42,195 metres on January 23, 2016 at Sainsbury’s Superstore Newquay, in just under 3 hours 06 minutes. He has raised over £1,800 so far – way to go Andy : )) Donations still welcomed via

This time means he is now ranked (verified by Concept 2) #5 in UK and # 10 in World for his age category 60-69 in the current Concept 2 (the 2016 season runs from May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016) rankings on the web site, the indoor rowing machine company used by all the world’s top rowers.
Andy trained for three months in order to complete this challenge for his two chosen charities, CLIC Sargent and The Memory Café Newquay and he has raised over £1800 with promises of more to come. To add to this amount please go to Just Giving

Many people helped him achieve his first ever marathon row.
