Events in Newquay: On September 16, 17 and 18 join hundreds, if not thousands, of locals and holidaymakers at Newquay Fish Festival.
Newquay Fish Festival has grown over the last 15 years into the town’s most anticipated celebration of its heritage and the bounty that comes from the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
These three fun days offer cookery demonstrations conducted by top chefs from across the region; our local fishermen sharing the good news of sustainability and – perhaps the most practical advice – how to fillet and prepare seafood for succulent dishes. It’s easy when you know how.
With a full programme of entertainment including bands, choirs, singers and dancers, and small business and craft stalls, all three days are packed with things to do. And with eclectic food stalls and a barbecue there will be lots of treats to eat, too!
A number of community groups also have the opportunity to use the event for their own fundraising purposes and these generally include the Newquay Old Cornwall Society, Newquay Society of Artists and Newquay Hospital League of Friends to name just a few.

Come to Newquay and have some fun : ))
