People are cordially invited to get in the Halloween spirit at not one but two fun events at Fistral Beach, Newquay, on October 28 in aid of The Wave Project.
Open to the young and young at heart the Halloween Surf and Run starts at 1pm, kicking off the afternoon with a fun across one of Newquay’s beautiful Fistral beach. Shortly after the run, will be time to hit the surf, let’s fill the line-up in the most ghoulish of outfits. Sign up now and on October 28 get kitted out in Halloween fancy dress and help raise funds for our Surf Therapy charity.
One and all are invited to either or both events but as spaces are limited advanced registration is recommended
- Halloween Fun Run: £5 for adults and children
- Halloween Surf: £10 for adults and children
or to sign up for both it will be £13 for adults and children.
To boost the fundraising for The Wave Project, get friends and family to sponsor – or bring them along!
Whatever surf experience, accepting this challenge will give you the chance to surf with pumpkins, witches and even skeletons. Stick to white water surfing if just starting out or venture out on to the green waves out back. Remember it’s not just surfboards that are welcome, bring a body board, SUP, all water craft welcomed. It is not a competition, just a chance to ride some scarily good waves and raise funds for The Wave Project, a charity that helps hundreds of children and young adults every year through award winning surf therapy courses.
Don’t run, jog, walk or surf? Not to worry. Just grab a hat and coat and go along to cheer on those who do. Any contribution – large or small – to The Wave Project collecting buckets would be welcomed.
