Trenance Heritage Cottages are looking forward to a new season of surprises and friendships!
Their spokesperson has said, “Our three lovely old dwellings, Vine Cottage, Middle Cottage and Rose Cottage, each have their own character and their own stories to tell. If you’ve visited before, you’ll know all about the Oulds, the Pearces and the Wiltons, plus a score of other local names from the past – residents who, in different ways, contributed to the life of the community.
“But every day the cottages open, our visitors bring new stories and this is what gives our volunteer stewards such pleasure. Why not come and join them?”
The team at Trenance Cottages invites you to an open morning on Tuesday February 26 from 10.30am until 1pm.
Find out about the various volunteering opportunities – helping with the Grotto and Spring Fayre, stewarding in the heritage rooms and even lending a hand to gardening and maintenance. There’s something for everyone.
Go along – and take a friend – for a coffee and cake, and chat to other volunteers. Or, if you prefer, skip all that and give Mavis a ring on 01637 874 380.
Join and help the continuing story at Trenance Heritage Cottages.
